NC Author Wiley Cash to Read at Annual Meeting

Wiley Cash, the New York Times best-selling author of A Land More Kind Than Home and This Dark Road to Mercy, will join the TRLN Annual Meeting on Thursday, July 27, 2017 as our featured author, providing a lunchtime reading and book signing. A New York Times bestseller, A Land More Kind Than Home was also named a Times Editor’s Choice and a Notable Book of 2012. Cash’s second novel, This Dark Road to Mercy, is a national bestseller and has been optioned for a film. Cash’s next novel, Last Ballad, will be out in October.

Cash holds a B.A. in Literature from the University of North Carolina-Asheville, an M.A. in English from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. He is
writer-in-residence at the University of North Carolina-Asheville and teaches in the Low-Residency MFA Program in Fiction and Nonfiction Writing at Southern New Hampshire University.
