Derek Rodriguez serves as a Program Officer with the Triangle Research Libraries Network where he supports collaborative technology initiatives within the consortium and is project manager for the TRLN Endeca Project. Prior to joining TRLN in 2007, Derek served as a Systems Librarian and Project Manager at UNC Chapel Hill Academic Affairs Library and at Davidson College. Derek is also a doctoral student at the School of Information and Library Science at UNC Chapel Hill. His interests include library evaluation and assessment, information technology management in libraries, research methods, issues in academic librarianship, and library education. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at UNC SILS.

Derek received his MSLS in 1993 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his BA in English from Duke University in 1989.
