The Collections Analysis Feasibility Task Group for Serials will provide updates and reports to the Collections Council.

Charge: to evaluate and report on the resources required (including staff and software) to prepare a Collections Analysis of TRLN's print serials holdings across all subjects and shelving locations. The analysis would rely upon OCLC's Collection Analysis Service and include an inventory of holdings, identification of unique holdings, and the number of duplicate titles and volumes in the consortium. Such an analysis would enable the TRLN Collections Council to take a systematic approach to TRLN's collaborative Print Retention Program.

Timeline
The Task Group will complete its work by December 2011. Its final report shall include a timeline, methodology, and staff and other resources required to complete the analysis.
