The committee reports to the TRLN Technology Council and is responsible for the ongoing management and operation of Search TRLN. The chair of this committee is a member of the TRLN Technology Council. Committee members have the responsibility to communicate and consult with staff at all of the libraries at their institution regarding the ongoing operation and maintenance of the Search TRLN platform. Meeting minutes and working documents will be posted to the TRLN website or wiki as appropriate.

Areas of Responsibility

 System Management

• Coordinates changes in system architecture to achieve the consortium's goals for the TRLN Endeca Implementation.
• Develops and maintains mechanisms for gathering and reporting system usage and performance data.
• Coordinates shared responsibility for system management and emergency response.

 Data Models

• Documents, maintains, and adjusts the TRLN Endeca Data Model as required to support TRLN Endeca Goals.
• Communicates the TRLN Endeca Data Model to TRLN libraries staff members.
• Generates Guidelines and best practices for incorporating non-MARC metadata and other content into the TRLN Endeca system.

 Application Development

• Develops a rubric for evaluating enhancement requests, obtaining approval, and setting appropriate software development priorities.
• Coordinates the maintenance and enhancement of the Search TRLN user interface(s) with attention to ensuring compatibility with "local skins."
• Facilitates collaboration and information sharing among the Endeca software development teams on each campus.
• Implements mechanisms to gather feedback from end-users and library staff regarding bugs and enhancement requests for TRLN Endeca applications.
