Donna Petherbridge, Manager, Faculty Development Services, Learning Technology Services
The Learning Technology Service’s Faculty Development Services group resides in the Learning and Research Center for the Digital Age (LRCDA) as part of a collaborative effort between the Libraries and Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) to provide integrated services to faculty, staff and students in all aspects of new information technologies as they relate to knowledge of and training in the digital environment of the information age. The Faculty Development Services group focuses on providing programs, workshops, seminars and consultations to faculty members, graduate students, and support staff who are engaged in teaching and learning with technology. This session will provide an overview of the Learning Technology Service, and then will specifically highlight programs and service areas provided to faculty by the Faculty Development Services group, including the Summer Institute, the ITAP program, handheld computing support, learning management system support, and accessibility and usability support.
